Catching Rays
Cyanotype is one of photography's oldest processes, developed in 1842, printing with a mixture of Sunlight and Chemistry.
At Mocarne Studios, each print is handmade by exposing light sensitive coated paper to the Sun, developed and fixed in water.
This elemental process results in a unique blue exposure that cannot be exactly repeated. This is how we capture the power of the Sun and transform it into art!
