Paper Nautilus

It looks like a shell. It's made by an octopus.

The Paper Nautilus, or Argonaut, is a small pelagic octopus known for the delicate, shell-like egg case produced by the female. Unlike a true shell, this beautiful structure is made by the octopus herself.

Each print is individually exposed and processed by hand, so subtle variations in texture, exposure and tone make every piece unique.

I really enjoy the balance of the white shells against the deep blue!
